Separate the four budgets.
Discovery establishes what to automate. Implementation connects and tests it. Usage covers models, APIs, hosting and licenses. Operations covers monitoring, maintenance and incident handling. A project quote that includes only implementation is not a total operating budget.
What changes implementation effort?
Reliable APIs and clean identifiers simplify delivery. Unsupported systems, complex permissions, historical data repair and exception-heavy rules increase uncertainty. A narrow workflow should not be priced as if it were a complete platform.
LONGWApps starting prices.
Discover starts from $750 one-time. Transform starts from $3,000 per scoped project. Operate Essentials starts from $750 monthly and Growth from $1,500 monthly. Starting prices are in USD. Your proposal sets out the workflow, delivery plan and total budget; third-party fees are separate.

Ask for the assumptions.
A useful estimate names included workflows, acceptance criteria, access dependencies and exclusions. Ask who pays for retries, model usage, hosting and upgrades. Clarify support hours, source ownership and exit arrangements before signing.
Compare cost with a realistic baseline.
Measure the full manual process, including review and corrections. Estimate a conservative level of adoption and include ongoing human checks. Time released is useful capacity; it is not automatically cash savings or new revenue.
